About Me
Hello, my name is Nick Gundrum and I am a musical theatre performer currently based in Cincinnati, Ohio! Theatre helped me to find my voice, and I want to help others find their own through my work. Music and storytelling are my two passions, and there is nothing I would rather be doing than pursuing what I love. I am a recent graduate of The University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, or CCM. With my degree, I want to perform based out of New York City.
Beyond singing, acting, and dancing, I am a piano player, choreographer, and dance teacher. I have played and sang at dueling pianos bars, covering anything from Cole Porter to Chappell Roan. I hope to choreograph shows in my future, and I am passionate about working as a dance captain or assistant choreographer. I have a passion for developing new works, and want to get involved in any way I can.
My introduction to theatre was in third grade taking a theatre class. After the first semester’s Christmas themed showcase, my older brother Max wanted to get involved, so we starred in our first ever musical: The Pirates of Penzance. Max was much better than I was, but he decided to focus on sports while I stuck with all thing’s music. I’ve lived in Cincinnati my whole life; studying and working with The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, attending Anderson High School where my favorite role was Bat Boy in Bat Boy: The Musical, and finally deciding to pursue my BFA in musical theatre from CCM. During college, I worked professionally with Black Rock Theatre in Connecticut, The Lexington Theatre Co. in Kentucky, and Theatre Aspen in Colorado.

Outside of music and theatre, I have an awesome family who I love to hang out with. During the pandemic, we played sand volleyball together almost every day. We love to snow ski, water ski and wakeboard, workout, and travel. I am passionate about starting my own business one day, and I received my Minor in Business Administration from the Lindner College of Business at UC.
